Instructions for writers and publishing houses

If you are a writer, please contact us by email to propose your project.

Remember not to send complete manuscript, but a sample:

– For narrative (novel, story): the first 50 pages.
– For essays (literary, philosophical, scientific/popular): the first 30 pages.
– For poetry, complete collections of poems.

Remember that the manuscripts and/or samples submitted must be previously registered to guarantee the authorship and protection of the intellectual property rights of each author. Although we will never steal your work or leak it to third parties, if we are interested in representing your work or your person, we may require a copy of the certificate. Normally, each country has offices where these registrations are processed with official certifications.

In any of the above cases, please accompany the email with a friendly message, a cover letter of no more than thirty lines (well written and professional), a summary of the work and a short CV about your previous work in the field in which you wish us to represent you.

If you send attached files, these should not exceed 15 MB in total.

We receive a multitude of proposals and we are very selective with our decisions. We do not have to make mistakes! We prefer to rectify if there is a later opportunity. But do not take us into account if we did not see the value of your work at a certain time. We are human, not gods.

If we have not responded to your email within a maximum of ten weeks, assume our silence as a refusal. Insistence (on the phone is worse) penalizes our perception of your work and person. However, if after a silence or a refusal at least a year has passed and you would like to propose a project or your representation as an author again, we will be delighted to receive and read your new suggestion.

If you represent a publishing house, please contact us by email to present your proposal.

Please accompany the email with a friendly message that clearly and concisely sets out the details of the proposal. Remember that we can represent an entire publishing company or specific books, authors or collections.

If you send attached files, these must not exceed 15 MB in total.

If we have not responded to your email within a maximum of ten weeks, please assume our silence as a refusal. Insistence (on the phone is worse) penalises our perception of your work and company. However, if after a silence or a refusal at least a year has passed and you would like to approach us again about a project or your representation as a publishing company, we will be delighted to receive and read your new suggestion.
